Umami Mart was the first to have this Nikka whisky on the shelves in Northern California! A blend of malt and grain whiskies, this one packs a great flavor punch. Aged in used casks for 3-6 months. Full of winter spice, toffee, and oh so many fruit notes including berries and orange.
Nikka was founded in Hokkaido in 1934 after Masataka Taketsuru spent time in Scotland to learn the art of making whisky. Migakigyo distillery is Nikka’s second distillery in Sendai built in 1969.
